Two people died in separate crashes on Oklahoma highways Tuesday night and Wednesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Kirk Jones, 59, of Purcell

About 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jones was driving north on State Highway 59B a few miles northeast of Lindsay when he collided with a vehicle entering the highway off 100th Street, troopers said. Jones died at the scene, and the other driver wasn’t injured, troopers said.

Edward Hauser, 68, of Owasso

About noon Wednesday, Hauser was driving a motorcycle east on State Highway 20 about four miles west of Claremore when he crossed the center line and collided with a pickup driving west.

Hauser died at the scene, and the driver of the pickup refused medical treatment, troopers said.
