Two die in wreck near Tinker Air Force Base

A two-car crash Friday afternoon at 4120 S Douglas left two dead, Oklahoma City police reported.

Two people were killed Friday in a two-car collision near Tinker Air Force Base.

Oklahoma City police said the collision occurred about 1:20 p.m. at 4120 S Douglas Blvd. Five people were involved in the crash; two died at the scene.

Paramedics took three women involved in the crash to OU Medical Center. One was in good condition, one was in fair condition and another was in critical condition, EMSA spokeswoman Lara O’Leary said.

Investigators still are trying to determine what caused the collision. Police had not released the names of the victims as of Friday evening.
