Two men died Wednesday of injuries suffered in traffic accidents, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Cody Nathaniel Johnson, 18, Ada

Johnson was driving a motorcycle about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 3W a mile north of Ada when he hit an object in the roadway. Troopers said he was dead at the scene.

It is not known what object his motorcycle hit. Johnson was wearing a helmet.

William R. Taylor, 48, Yale

Taylor was pronounced dead about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa. He suffered critical neck and trunk injuries when he lost control of his pickup about 8:20 p.m. Monday on private property 5 miles south and 2 miles east of Yale in Payne County. Taylor and a passenger were doing donuts in a field when he lost control of the pickup in soft sand, causing the vehicle to roll over. He was pinned for about 90 minutes, the patrol reports.

His passenger, Randy L. Lewis, 44, of Yale was not injured.
