Two men died in weekend wrecks on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Matthew George Scott, 19, Mustang

About 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Scott was a passenger in a pickup on U.S. 64, about 10 miles northeast of Boise City in Cimarron County, when a tractor-trailer driven by Gildardo Guzman Corral, 47, of Amarillo, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the pickup on the passenger side, troopers said.

Scott died at the scene. Two other passengers were flown to a Lubbock, Texas, hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the pickup and a fourth passenger were treated and released. Corral was not hurt, troopers said.

Anthony Lee Nestell, 38, Anadarko

Nestell was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck about 11:45 p.m. Saturday on County Street 2640 near County Road 1375 in Caddo County.

Nestell was driving a pickup south on the county street when it left the road and hit an embankment.

He was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
