The Oklahoma City Police Department burglary unit is asking for help to identify two men who tried to break into an automated teller machine and set the surveillance camera on fire. The attempted theft occurred Jan. 17 at Bank of Oklahoma, 4324 SE 44.

The two men tried unsuccessfully to set the video camera lens on fire to hide their identities, according to a police news release.

In spite of their efforts to conceal their faces, the video camera captured a clear look at both men, police said.

The men were not able to get any money from the ATM.

Anyone with information about the men should call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
