Two more accused of looting disaster site in Newalla

Nathan Lee Simpson, 23, of Del City, and Ace William Morgan, 24, of Norman, were charged with misdemeanors Friday according to Cleveland County District Court records.

Two more people have been charged with disturbing a disaster area, accused of looting in the Newalla area after the May 19 tornado. Cleveland County sheriff's deputies say this brings the total to eight arrests in the past three weeks.

Nathan Lee Simpson, 23, Del City, and Ace William Morgan, 24, Norman, were charged with misdemeanors Friday after they were arrested Wednesday, Cleveland County District Court records show.

According to a court affidavit, a sheriff's deputy spotted one of the men breaking down a satellite dish and loading it into a pickup and the other man removing scrap metal from a home. The deputy said the men admitted to being on the property without permission.
