A woman died Monday in a Tulsa hospital after being injured in a car accident Sunday that killed three others, and an Iowa woman died after an accident in Craig County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Crystal A. Sutterfield, 32, of Antlers
Sutterfield was riding in a car driven by Rodney R. Sutterfield, 35, of Antlers. The car was traveling east on a county road about 9 p.m. Sunday in Choctaw County. It failed to yield and was hit by a southbound car driven by Celina E. Perez-Landeros, 25, of Dallas, at U.S. 271, troopers said.
Rodney Sutterfield and two other passengers died soon after the crash, troopers said. Crystal Sutterfield was wearing a seat belt.
Perez-Landeros and a passenger in her car declined medical treatment at the scene.
Audry Rose Wickman, 81, of Dubuque, Iowa
Wickman died after the car in which she was a passenger went off the roadway. The car, driven by Leonard Clem Wickman, 81, of Dubuque, Iowa, was driving eastbound on Interstate 44 about 2:55 p.m. Tuesday. The car crossed all the lanes of traffic and hit the median wall and the guard rail, troopers said.
The Wickmans, who were wearing seat belts, were taken to a Miami, OK, hospital, where Audry Wickman died. Leonard Wickman was admitted in the hospital in good condition, troopers said.
