MUSKOGEE — Officials are looking for a man they allege shot two pregnant women outside a bar just north of the Muskogee city limits early Sunday.
Around 1:30 a.m., Muskogee County sheriff’s deputies received several calls about a group who got into an argument at the Frog Wild Saloon, about a half-mile north of Muskogee, Sheriff Charles Pearson said. They began fighting inside the bar about a shooting that took place a couple of weeks prior, and Pearson said witnesses allege Donte Lamonte Edwards, 26, shot two women in the parking lot.
“One woman was eight months pregnant and the other found out she was seven weeks pregnant,” Pearson said. “One was shot four or five times and the other was shot twice.”
