Two small earthquakes hit central Oklahoma

The U.S. Geological Survey reports earthquakes Thursday morning near Midwest City and Chandler.

— A 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit Thursday morning near Midwest City.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake occurred about 11 a.m. 2 miles northeast of Midwest City.

The survey also reports a 2.3 magnitude quake occurred about 9:25 a.m. 6 miles south of Chandler.
