ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The University of Alaska Anchorage has signed a junior college transfer from California.

Coach Ryan McCarthy says in a release that Adriana Dent, from Canyon Country, Calif., will play for the Seawolves next year.

The 5-foot-8 guard is coming to Anchorage from Southern Idaho, and has two years of eligibility remaining.

She averaged 7.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as a sophomore.

Dent is the third member of next year's recruiting class, joining Alysha DeVine of Wasilla and Kiki Robertson of Honolulu on the Seawolves roster.
