UCF looking for revenge this week against FIU

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Central Florida would like to forget last season's trip to Florida International.

Not only was the Knights' 17-10 loss a surprise, but it started a skid that culminated in a dismal 5-7 campaign. Meanwhile, the Panthers rode the win to a program-best 8-5 mark.

FIU returns 21 starters from its 2011 squad for Saturday's game in Orlando, with UCF looking to get back track in its first home game of the season following a lopsided loss at Ohio State last week.

The Knights will remain without starting running back Latavius Murray, who will miss his second straight game with a bruised shoulder.

But UCF coach George O'Leary likes the way sophomore quarterback Blake Bortles has performed thus far, passing for five touchdowns in just 57 attempts.
