UCO to host 2010 Sitting Volleyball World Championships

The University of Central Oklahoma will host the 2010 Sitting Volleyball World Championships, July 10-18, with 36 men and women's national teams from 26 countries competing.

The U.S. Men and Women's Sitting Volleyball Teams both train at UCO, which is an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site in volleyball and archery. The university also currently hosts 12 resident Paralympic athletes in the sports of sitting volleyball, archery, and track and field.

Tickets will be available for purchase on the days of the event at the Hamilton Field House ticket window. For ticket information, go to www.2010worlds.com. Volunteers are also needed each day of the event.
