UCO hosts sitting volleyball camp

UCO will play host to 50 wounded U.S. Army soldiers for a sitting volleyball training camp in January.

EDMOND — Their wounds may have come while serving their country, but the disabilities have not diminished their will or athletic abilities.

Fifty wounded members of the U.S. Army will hone their sitting volleyball skills at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Wellness Center during a training camp Jan. 7-9. Ten of the competitors then will be selected to represent the Army during the 2011 Warrior Games.
