Here's what UConn players and coaches had to say after the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday:

* Coach Randy Edsall: “They're talented, They have the guy that can pull the trigger, the running back and the great wide receivers.”

* Running back Jordan Todman: “They're a talented defense and well coached and had a great game plan. We could've attacked them better. But they were tough and they did well.”

* Wideout Kashif Moore, on why he wore Jasper Howard's No. 6: “It's good to honor a fallen teammate and brother of ours. This would have been Jasper Howard's last game and I'm sure he would have shined.”

* Linebacker Scott Lutrus: “Oklahoma is No. 7 for a reason. They got skilled guys all over the place.”
