UGF women's hoops signs Washington point guard
GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — University of Great Falls women's basketball coach Bill Himmelberg has announced the signing of point guard Darah Huertas-Vining of Federal Way, Wash.
Huertas-Vining averaged 15.7 points per game as a senior at Federal Way High, after averaging 13.3 as a junior. She also led the South Puget Sound league in assists for three seasons.
Himmelberg says the opportunity to play right away was key in her choice to play at UGF.
