CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — A team spokesman says North Carolina reserve quarterback Marquise Williams isn't enrolled in school this semester.

Kevin Best said Monday that Williams is still part of the team and is eligible to return this summer, though he didn't say why the redshirt freshman isn't enrolled in school for the spring semester.

Williams, a native of Charlotte, played in nine games behind every-game starter Bryn Renner. Williams completed 10 of 17 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown to go with 186 yards rushing and three scores.
