Uninsured families might qualify for Insure Oklahoma

Published: January 20, 2013

“Governor's decision on Medicaid puts health care of many in doubt” (Oklahoma Watch, Jan. 13) featured an uninsured father of three who worked for a small business that didn't offer insurance and he and his wife didn't qualify for Medicaid. He worries about his family's lack of health coverage. There is an option for coverage! Since his employer doesn't offer a qualifying plan, Insure Oklahoma for Individuals for a family of five, if the total household income is less than $56,900 a year, is a solution. Contact Insure Oklahoma at insureoklahoma.org or (888) 365-3742.
