Scouting Kansas State

Record: 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Big 12, after suffering first loss Saturday at home to Oklahoma, 58-17.

Best player: Quarterback Collin Klein directs a potent running offense, ranking fourth in the Big 12 at 95.2 yards per game with 16 rushing touchdowns.

Why the Wildcats could beat OSU: The Cowboys have struggled at times defending the run and will be pressed to produce their usual allotment of takeaways against a team that has surrendered a league-low eight turnovers.

Why the Wildcats will lose to OSU: K-State was exposed against OU, with the Sooners' speed and air offense providing major problems. The Cowboys pose the same problems.
