12:55 p.m. Authorities have determined there is no threat at the courthouse, Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said.
A bomb threat was reported about 9:50 a.m. Pottawatomie County deputies conducted a visual inspection and called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad to sweep the areas, Booth said.
Both the county deputies and the bomb squad have given the all-clear and are allowing people back into the county courthouse complex, he said.
11:40 a.m. SHAWNEE — The Pottawatomie County courthouse has been evacuated due to a bomb threat, a police spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.
The Pottawatomie County sheriff's office, housed in the courthouse basement, has been evacuated and no one is available for comment, a dispatcher reports.
