UPDATE: All highways shut down in Oklahoma Panhandle Monday

Wrecks with injury have been reported in north Oklahoma City Monday morning. Rain is falling Monday morning in Oklahoma City and blizzard conditions are in the western part of the state.

9 a.m. The following is a list of current road closures in northwest Oklahoma:

U.S. Highway 412 at Woodward, U.S. Highway 54 at Texhoma to the state line, and U.S. Highway 64 at Hooker, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety reports.

All roadways around the city of Guymon are also shut down at this time.

Due to extreme weather, travel is not possible in these locations, DPS reports.

Motorists are advised to avoid driving in or near these areas.

Oklahoma crews will continue to monitor roadways and release updated information as conditions change.

7:25 a.m. All highways in the Oklahoma Panhandle are being shut down due to blizzard conditions, said Betsy Randolph, Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman.

7 a.m. A wreck on the Lake Hefner Parkway has been reported in north Oklahoma City Monday morning. The wreck is in the northbound lanes near NW 63, police report.

In Noble County, U.S. 177 northbound and southbound is closed due to a crash between a pickup and a tractor-trailer. The highway was closed at 5:50 a.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Also in Noble County, U.S. 177 northbound just north of U.S. 412 is blocked due to a two vehicle collision, the patrol reported at 6:30 a.m.

6:30 a.m. A wreck with injury has been reported on Broadway Extension Monday morning in north Oklahoma City.

The wreck was about 6:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes south of Wilshire Boulevard, Oklahoma City police report.

Blizzard conditions are reported in western Oklahoma Monday. Road crews from the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation are monitoring conditions and will be working to clear roadways, ODOT reports.
