UPDATE: City hall reopens; suspicious package found to not be a threat

Oklahoma City's city hall was shut down since 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

2:20 p.m. Police have reopened city hall after a suspicious package was found not to be a threat, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

2:05 p.m. Oklahoma City's city hall has been shut down due to a bomb threat, according to city officials.

City hall in downtown was closed about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, an official said.

Police have set up a perimeter around city hall. Officers are preventing anyone from entering or leaving the building while they investigate the threat.
