UPDATE: Crash on I-40 near Clinton Tuesday morning reported

A tractor-trailer crash shut down I-40 westbound at Clinton but crews have reopened the interstate, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Also, westbound I-40 lane will be closed most of the day near Lake Eufaula for cleanup work following a crash.

6 a.m. One westbound lane on Interstate 40 in McIntosh County near Pierce in the Lake Eufaula area will be shut down most of the day Tuesday for cleanup work following a tractor-trailer accident.

The crews will work on cleaning up a spill from the wreck, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported about 6 a.m.
