Cooler weather is expected Monday evening with an overnight low in central Oklahoma of 52 degrees, the National Weather Service reports. There is a 20 percent chance of rain Monday night with wind gusts up to 28 mph.

7:40 a.m. A dense fog advisory for much of Oklahoma has been issued Monday by the National Weather Service. Visibility is limited to about a quarter of a mile in areas from Kansas to the Texas border, the weather service reports. The fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday.

Monday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 55. North, northeast wind 14 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.
