UPDATE: Driver arrested in overnight car chase, crash into house in southwest Oklahoma City

The driver of a stolen car was arrested after crashing into a house Sunday night.

9:25 a.m. Police arrested Christian Emmanuel Reyes, 18, of Oklahoma City, after he crashed a stolen car into a house after a pursuit, police report.

An officer saw the stolen car about 10:40 p.m. Sunday and tried to stop it, but the driver fled, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. Reyes failed to negotiate a turn at SW 51 and S Blackwelder and crashed into a house at 5000 S Blackwelder Ave. No one in the house was injured.

Reyes was taken to a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries before he was taken to the Oklahoma County jail.

6:55 a.m. A driver was arrested after crashing a vehicle into a house in southwest Oklahoma City.

A police pursuit ended when the driver crashed at SW 49 and S Blackwelder Avenue. The driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries. No one in the house was injured.
