A number of flights are backed up due to the delays, said Karen Carney, Will Rogers spokeswoman, but planes are landing and taking off again at the airport. 4:45 a.m. A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. for most of Oklahoma Monday, the National Weather Service reports.
Visibility is less than a quarter mile in some areas, the weather service reports. The advisory covers areas of Oklahoma east of a line from Alva to Lawton.
Temperatures will be pleasant Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 60s, but by Wednesday temperatures will turn colder with chances of sleet and snow Thursday and Friday in central Oklahoma.

Monday: Widespread dense fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise mostly cloudy then gradually becoming sunny with a high near 65. Light west, southwest wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
