UPDATE: Central Oklahoma under a freeze watch for early Friday

All tornado watches have expired Thursday in southeast Oklahoma.

In Oklahoma County, a flood warning has been issued for the North Canadian River, the weather service reports.

The river will rise above flood stage early Thursday and continue to rise to near 17.5 feet by midmorning Thursday. The areas that could be impacted are low-lying croplands and pastures in east Oklahoma City, Spencer and Jones, the weather service reports.

Meanwhile, a freeze warning will be in effect for northwest Oklahoma and the Panhandle from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday. A wind advisory is in effect for southwest Oklahoma Thursday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 7 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 49. Windy with a northwest wind 23 to 26 mph with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 31. West, northwest wind 16 to 21 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 59. West, northwest wind 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 39. West, northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the evening.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 68. South wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 46.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 67.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 69.

Monday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 46.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 52.

Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 37.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 58.
