UPDATE: Grass fire reported at Lake Hefner
Firefighters have responded to a grass fire Thursday morning at Lake Hefner. High winds are increasing grass fire danger in Oklahoma.
7:30 a.m. Firefighters are battling a blaze on the south side of Lake Hefner Thursday morning. The fire is in the 3700 block of S Lake Hefner Drive, according to fire radio reports.

6:15 a.m. Firefighters have responded to a grass fire in north Oklahoma City Thursday morning, fire Deputy Chief Marc Woodard reports.
The fire was reported about 6 a.m. near W Memorial Road and N Pennsylvania Avenue.
High winds are expected Wednesday and wildfire danger could be a problem in Oklahoma.
