Oklahoma City hazmat crew determines substance is not dangerous

Crews responded about 2 p.m. to a report of an envelope with white powder delivered to Hobby Lobby, 7693 SW 44.

An Oklahoma City hazardous materials crew determined the substance found in an envelope delivered to Hobby Lobby headquarters, 7693 SW 44, is not dangerous, a fire department spokeswoman said.

Fire, EMSA and police responded to the call about 2 p.m. Thursday, which reported a white powdery substance had been found inside an envelope.

About 25 people were evacuated from the company’s loss prevention office.
