Oklahoma City police officers exchanged gunfire Monday night with a homicide suspect at a southeast Oklahoma City motel, but nobody was hit by the bullets.

Three officers were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries when the gunfire ended and the suspect was taken into custody, police Capt. Dexter Nelson said.

The names of the injured officers and the nature and extent of their injuries were not immediately released.

About 10:15 p.m., gang officers went to the Executive Inn, Interstate 35 and SE 34, looking for Keenan Lamar Leake, 24, Nelson said.

Leake is wanted in connection with a double homicide at the Pulse Event Center, Nelson said.

Nicholas Duwayne Sweet, 32, and Raymond Huddleston, 34, were shot and killed in the events center parking lot about 2:40 a.m. Dec. 2 after a private party had ended, police reported in December.

Dean Smith, owner of the events center, said in December the facility was rented that night for a music party.
