UPDATE: Ice hazard and crash with injury reported in northwest Oklahoma City

Ice could be to blame for a crash with injury reported Tuesday morning. The crash is at N MacArthur Boulevard and NW 30.

6:35 a.m. A water leak from a building near NW 30 and N MacArthur Boulevard is creating an icy traffic hazard for motorists Tuesday morning, police officers and firefighters report. A water leak from a building at 3131 N MacArthur Blvd. is causing ice to form on the street. Crews are working to stop the leak and officers are blocking traffic in the area. 6:05 a.m. A crash with injury has been reported near NW 30 and N MacArthur Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Police report a power pole was struck by a vehicle. A large patch of ice may be to blame, according to police radio reports.
