UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at Maple School in Canadian County Tuesday morning after end of manhunt

. A lockdown has been lifted at Maple School in Calumet after law officers arrested a man who fled a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in the area Tuesday morning.

a Geary police officer tried to stop the driver on I-40 but the man ran. After law officers from the Canadian County sheriff's office and others joined in a manhunt, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol airplane spotted the man southwest of where he ran, said Undersheriff Chris West, spokesman for the Canadian County sheriff's office.

Deputies arrested Robert McGee, 43, of Richland Hills, Texas. Law officers said they found a substance that appears to be methamphetamine in the vehicle he was driving. McGee was taken to the Canadian County jail.
