Shooting death is Oklahoma City's sixth homicide of 2014

Police responding to a reported shooting Monday in Oklahoma City found a man dead in his car at SW 22 and S Miller Avenue.

Oklahoma City police are investigating the shooting death of a man found in his car Monday morning.

Officers were called about 9 a.m. to SW 22 and Miller Avenue. They found Eduardo Perez-Pena, 22, of Oklahoma City, dead inside a car in the intersection, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Perez-Pena’s death is Oklahoma City’s sixth homicide.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip line at 297-1200.
