UPDATE: Man found shot in northeast Oklahoma City

Police are investigating a shooting in northeast Oklahoma City. The shooting victim was found near the Ralph Ellison Library.

11:45 a.m. Police are looking for a white Chevy Malibu after a man was shot in the wrist in a northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood.

Someone fired at the man, a black male in his 20s, three or four times after a car pulled up next to him in the 1800 block of Granada, Oklahoma City police Lt. Ron Northcutt said.

Northcutt said the man ran several blocks to the library and was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

10:50 a.m. It is not clear where the man was when he was shot, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

10:35 a.m. Police are responding to a report of a shooting in northeast Oklahoma City. The shooting is at NE 23 and Martin Luther King Avenue, police Capt. Dexter Nelson said.

Police have located a man near the Ralph Ellison Library who has been shot.
