UPDATE: Man shot in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday

A shooting has been reported in northwest Oklahoma City. A man was shot near NW 9 and N Indiana Avenue.

11 a.m. The man who was shot Wednesday morning is undergoing surgery, police said. Investigators are trying to determine whether the man was robbed and where the shooting took place, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

7:45 a.m. Officers taped off a house at 1802 NW 9. A firefighter said the man had been shot in the stomach and was in critical condition. Investigators are trying to determined what happened, police report.

7:35 a.m. Police are investigating a reported shooting that may have involved a robbery near NW 9 and Indiana Avenue, Capt. Dexter Nelson said. The shooting victim was in critical condition, Nelson said.

7 a.m. Police are investigating a possible shooting in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday.

A man walked up to a home and asked for help because he claimed he had been shot, police Capt. Dexter Nelson said. The house was near NW 9 and N Indiana Avenue.
