UPDATE: Missing father, daughter from southern Oklahoma found

Albert Pieratt, 34, and McKayla Pieratt have been found and are safe. They were reported missing Tuesday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The father and daughter who were reported missing from McCurtain County have been located and are safe, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reports Thursday morning.

The search is on for a McCurtain County father and his 9-year-old daughter last seen Monday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Albert Pieratt, 34, and McKayla Pieratt, 9, were last seen by family members Monday when they walked away from their home near Idabel. They were reported missing Tuesday.

Albert Pieratt is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and wears glasses. McKayla weighs between 70 and 80 pounds and also has brown hair and blue eyes, according to a news release.
