UPDATE: Multiple vehicles in injury wrecks reported in northwest, west Oklahoma City Thursday morning

As a severe thunderstorm moves across central Oklahoma several wrecks are being reported. A wreck with injury is on Interstate 44 near Classen Boulevard.

7 a.m. A second multiple vehicle crash has been reported on Interstate 40 in the Yukon area near Garth Brooks Boulevard Thursday morning. Traffic is moving slowly in the area, according to Oklahoma City fire radio reports. A flash flood warning is in effect for the area. Motorists are advised not to drive into water. 6:45 a.m. Multiple vehicles are involved in a crash on Interstate 40 between Cimarron Road and Garth Brooks Boulevard Thursday morning as a severe thunderstorm moves through the area. Oklahoma City firefighters are responding. Check NewsOK.com for traffic updates.

6:40 a.m. Wrecks are being reported with injury in northwest Oklahoma City as heavy storms move into the area.

A wreck with injury has been reported in the westbound lanes of Interstate 44 at Classen Boulevard, according to Oklahoma City fire radio reports. Another wreck with injury is reported on I-44 at NW 39.
