9:30 a.m. Police have released the name of a woman who was shot to death early Monday.
Cynthia Morris, 53, of Oklahoma City, was found dead inside her home at 124 NW 80 about 1:55 a.m. from a gunshot wound, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight reports.
Her husband, Bernard Eugene Morris, 57, who lives at the home, told police he accidentally shot his wife. He suffered chest pains and was taken to a hospital where he was admitted, police report.
Police will continue to investigate, but report it appears to be an accidental shooting, Knight said.

6:30 a.m. Police are investigating two separate shootings early Monday, including one that left a 53-year-old woman dead.
Police were called to 124 NW 80 about 2:30 a.m. where a woman was found shot to death. Her husband is being questioned, said police Capt. Dee Patty. The 57-year-old man has not been arrested. Names have not been released.
In a separate shooting case in south Oklahoma City Monday, a man was found with a gunshot wound about 2:30 a.m. in the 600 block of SE 10. Police officers have been told conflicting stories about what happened, Patty said. The man was taken to OU Medical Center.
