Three die in Labor Day crashes in Oklahoma

Three people were killed on Labor Day in crashes on Oklahoma roads, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City police.

Three people were killed in Oklahoma crashes on Labor Day, authorities reported Tuesday.

Tevyn Thompson, 24, of Oklahoma City.

Terrell D. Anderson, 24, of Oklahoma City.

Thompson and Anderson died Monday in a crash in southeast Oklahoma City, and the man who allegedly crashed into their car was arrested, police report.

Thompson and Anderson, a passenger, were both killed about 9:40 p.m. at SE 51 Terrace and S Sunnylane Road.

Andrew Perry Browning, 28, was arrested on two complaints of manslaughter and complaints of driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in a fatality and driving without a license.

Browning was driving a pickup south on Sunnylane when he failed to stop at a stop light at SE 51 Terrace and hit the rear of the car in which Thompson and Anderson were riding. Both Thompson and Anderson were wearing their seat belts, police said.

Browning was taken to a hospital and later was taken to the Oklahoma County jail. He was being held Tuesday in lieu of $27,000 bail.
