UPDATE: Oklahoma man dies in Caddo County pickup crash

Ollie Dustin Simmons, 56, of Cement, died early Sunday after the pickup he was driving went off the road and hit a tree, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

An Oklahoma man died after the pickup he was driving went off the road and struck a tree, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Ollie Dustin Simmons, 56, of Cement, was driving west on U.S. 277 just east of Cement in Caddo County.

The pickup went off the left side of the road and into a ditch, where it hit a concrete gas-line marker and a tree and then burst into flames, troopers said.

Simmons, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
