Power was restored Saturday afternoon to Oklahoma City’s Lake Stanley Draper water treatment plant, but city officials said it could be several hours before the system returns to normal.

Power outages Saturday affected Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. customers in south Oklahoma City, Norman and Choctaw. More than 2,000 customers in Oklahoma City experienced outages, the company reported. About 700 customers in Norman and 618 customers in Choctaw also were without power.

The outages affected the Draper water treatment plant, which caused water pressure issues across the city.
