Update: Road conditions improve across Oklahoma but could still be treacherous in spots

11:30 a.m . Ambulance crews responded to 27 vehicle crashes in the Oklahoma City area from 9 to 11 a.m. and paramedics took 14 people to local hospitals to be treated for injuries, said Lara O'Leary , Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman.
