UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Oklahoma counties

A tornado watch has been issued Tuesday for central Oklahoma until noon. High winds, storms and warm temperatures are in the forecast.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely before noon then a slight chance of showers. Partly sunny with a high near 69. Southwest wind 20 to 24 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy with a low around 34. Southwest wind 16 to 23 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 48. Northwest wind 15 to 22 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 28. West, northwest wind 7 to 11 mph becoming south after midnight.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 55. South, southwest wind 10 to 16 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 22.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 53.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 31.

Saturday: Sunny with a high near 58.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 34.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 61.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 38.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.
