6:20 a.m. An overturned diesel fuel tanker has shut down U.S. 412 in Noble County Monday morning just east of Cimarron Turnpike toll booth, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
Turnpike crews are responding to assist.
5 a.m. Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews in southern and eastern portions of the state are reporting slick and hazardous roads, according to a news release Monday.
Crews will continue to apply salt and sand and plow areas as necessary. Travel is discouraged in these areas, ODOT reports.
The Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas have some slick spots. Drivers should use extreme caution and leave plenty of time to reach their destination, ODOT reports.
Parts of central and western Oklahoma are under a winter weather advisory for more snow Tuesday.
