UPDATE: Snow, wintry weather in Panhandle possible as rainy, cool weather hits central Oklahoma Tuesday

Rain will continue in central Oklahoma Tuesday and there is a chance for a wintry mix of precipitation in the Panhandle Tuesday night. Temperatures will stay below 45 degrees in Oklahoma City Tuesday.

Wednesday: Showers likely mainly before 1 p.m. Cloudy with a high near 43. East, northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Wednesday night: A 40 percent chance of showers mainly before 1 a.m. Cloudy with a low around 39. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north, northeast.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 54. North wind 6 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 41.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 69.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 51.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 74.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 54.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.

Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy with a low around 57.
