UPDATE: Southbound I-35 closed in northeast Oklahoma City

A tractor-trailer crashed and caught fire at Interstate 35 and NE 50, but the driver was not injured.

10:50 a.m. Interstate 35 southbound at NE 50 has been closed because of a tractor-trailer wreck. Traffic is being diverted onto Interstate 44 westbound.

10 a.m. Traffic is backing up because of a tractor-trailer crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

The crash is on Interstate 35 at NE 50. The rig hit the bridge and caught fire, spokeswoman Betsy Randolph said. She said the driver was not injured.
