UPDATE: Tractor-trailer hauling crushed cars overturns on Interstate 35 near Goldsby

A tractor-trailer overturned Friday morning in McClain County on Interstate 35. The rig was hauling crushed cars for scrap metal.

9:00 a.m. A tractor-trailer that overturned Friday morning on Interstate 35 was hauling crushed cars for scrap metal, a photographer on the scene reports. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol dispatcher said crews with wreckers are trying to clear the wreckage. Southbound and northbound traffic on I-35 is reduced to one lane in both directions Friday morning.

7:30 a.m. Southbound Interstate 35 will be shut down Friday morning so crews can remove an overturned tractor-trailer from the interstate, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol dispatcher said.

The wreck is in the southbound lanes about a mile north of Goldsby in McClain County, the dispatcher said.
