UPDATE: UCO building reopens after unattended suitcase deemed safe

An unattended suitcase was found at UCO in Edmond, Oklahoma. An evacuation of the Nigh University Center has ended and the building has reopened.

10:15 a.m. An unattended suitcase left in a University of Central Oklahoma parking lot is not a threat, and the Nigh University Center at UCO is no longer under evacuation, according to an alert issued by UCO. The building was evacuated about 8:50 a.m. after the suitcase was found. The center has reopened. Check for updates.

9:30 a.m. An unattended suitcase found in a parking lot at the University of Central Oklahoma has led to an evacuation of the Nigh University Center Monday morning, according to a UCO alert to students and faculty.
