UPDATE: Winter storm watch issued for Monday night in northwest Oklahoma

A winter storm watch has been issued for northwest Oklahoma Monday night. Tuesday could be snowy with an inch to 3 inches of snow possible in central Oklahoma.

Tuesday: Rain showers before noon then rain and snow showers. High near 40. East, northeast wind 8 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday night: Snow likely mainly before midnight. Cloudy with a low around 29. Northeast wind 10 to 14 mph becoming north, northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 48. West wind 10 to 13 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 32.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 52.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 31.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 42.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 26.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 47.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 56.
