UPDATE: Woman critically injured in Oklahoma City crash; police interview two men who fled the scene

Police said they don't know who was driving the vehicle when it crashed in northwest Oklahoma City or why the two men ran away.

3:45 p.m. Police have interviewed the second man who fled the scene of the wreck this morning. No one has been arrested. Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said police don't know who was driving the car when it overturned, and investigators haven't been able to speak with the woman who was injured because she is unconscious.

7:40 a.m. A woman who was in the car that crashed is in critical condition at a hospital, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. Two people fled the scene after the car overturned east of N Meridian Avenue on the south side of NW 23. One person was caught and is being interviewed by police. The other person who fled has not been caught, Knight said Thursday morning.

6 a.m. Police are looking for one person who fled the scene of a crash that left one other person critically injured in northwest Oklahoma City Thursday morning.

About 5:20 a.m. a car overturned on the south side of NW 23 east of Meridian Avenue, according to police radio reports. The intersection remains closed Thursday morning.

One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition, a police officer on the scene said.
