The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released the names Thursday of three people killed in wrecks on state roads, and Oklahoma City police worked another fatal wreck Thursday morning.

Unidentified woman

A woman died Thursday morning in Oklahoma City in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Oklahoma City, police reported. The crash was about 6:15 a.m.

The driver was eastbound on Interstate 44 when she tried to take the westbound exit onto NW 39 Expressway and crashed. Her name has not been released, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Benjamin M. Morgan, 20, and Evelyn M. Hays, 43, of Peggs

Morgan, the driver of a car, and Hays, both died in a head-on collision with a pickup about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 82 about 3.7 miles south of Locust Grove, the patrol reported.

Morgan was driving north on SH 82 when a pickup driven south by Cooper S. Day, 47, of Tahlequah, tried to pass another vehicle that was turning right onto a private drive. Day's pickup struck Morgan's car head-on, the patrol reported.
